WHEN YOU'LL NEED IT

Take in your hospital bag to pull on the first time you go to the bathroom post-birth. Wear back home for as long as needed (bleeding usually continues for six weeks, but volume lessens with time). Change as required. You may also want to wear them in labour when your waters break.

HOW TO USE IT

Designed to provide comfort and coverage while you’re recovering. Wear day and night, for as long as you have lochia after birth. Layer with Peri Wipes or Peri Cloud Perineal Foam for extra calming sensation on your bits.

Are these adult nappies?

Essentially yes, but The After (Pants) Party is designed for postpartum bodies. Super comfy to wear with an elastic waist, the anti-leak core and three-layer design ensures maximum absorbency and minimal accidents so you can feel comfy, dry and worry-free in early recovery.

What’s the difference between this and a pad?

Unlike pads, The After (Pants) Party Disposable Postpartum Underwear is an all-in-one solution. They’re made with an anti-leak core, a three-layer design for maximum absorbency and an elastic waist to feel soft and comfortable on your body as it changes. Some people choose to wear pads instead, and they’ll work! But pads can move and feel bulky, and you’ll also need to wear underwear with the pad. One more thing to pack (and wash). It’s our recommendation that you wear The After (Pants) Party in hospital, and for those early days when you need less fuss and all comfort, then move to pads once you’re home and bleeding has started to ease off.

Do I need these for a C-Section birth?

The After (Pants) Party is designed to be worn after vaginal and Caesarean births. Regardless of how you birth, lochia, a.k.a postpartum bleeding, happens for about 4-6 weeks.

How many packs do I need?

We recommend having two packs of The After (Pants) Party on hand after giving birth.

What makes them so comfy?

The top cover is made from silk fiber, with the base being an ultra absorbent non toxic polymer (SAP and wood pulp) and the waistband is spandex.
