Antenatal expressing or "colostrum collection" is not recommended before 36 weeks of pregnancy and should not be done by anyone at risk of premature labour. Check with your maternal healthcare provider before attempting.

Collect: When expressing, gently squeeze the collector body, place the nib to the colostrum drop and release to suck it into the collector. Alternatively, express into the collection cup and suck it into the collector from there.

Store: Label the collector with the dating stickers and place upright in the fridge or freezer.

Feed: When it’s time to feed your baby, place the collector in the corner of their mouth and squeeze the body to push the colostrum into their mouth.

Offering multiple ways to collect: via the vacuum effect of the soft collector nibs straight from your nipples or from the collection cup, this makes colostrum collecting as easy as it can be. It has clear measurements and labelling tools so it will be clear whose colostrum it is when stored in the birthing suite freezer.
